2012 Annual Hospice Palliative Care Ontario Conference |
The three joint conferences hosted in 2009, 2010 and 2011 by the Hospice Association of Ontario and the Ontario Palliative Care Association were stunning successes! The theme of these conferences, "One Vision, One Voice," has reflected the historic collaboration of these two associations. We owe a debt of gratitude to the delegates, presenters, sponsors and volunteers who helped make it happen.
In 2012, we plan to make history once again as we host our first conference as a single association. The 2012 Annual Hospice Palliative Care Ontario Conference will be hosted from Sunday, 29 April 2012 to Tuesday, 1 May 2012 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel and Convention Centre. Join us for what we expect to be our biggest and best conference yet!
Please visit our official conference website for more information. The call for abstracts for this year's conference is now closed. We want to thank all who have submitted an abstract for a workshop, oral paper or poster presentation. Once the review committee has completed the selection process, authors will be notified early in the new year.
Further program information will be posted in early January. Members of HPCO and past conference participants will be notified when registration opens.
The conference will be held at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel and Conference Centre. Information on room rates and booking is now available in the location and accommodation section of the official conference website.
